    For nearly five decades, Plant Safari has been more than just a nursery—it has been a place where people come to slow down, explore, and reconnect with nature.
What began as a family business has grown into a destination for plant lovers, home gardeners, collectors, and families throughout Southern California.While our selection has grown over the years, one thing has never changed: our commitment to treating every customer like family.

    Our story is rooted in hard work, resilience, and a genuine love for helping others create beautiful spaces. After immigrating from Mexico as a young girl, our owner, Georgina “Gina” Walker, discovered her passion for horticulture while working alongside a local nursery owner. What began as a part-time opportunity soon became a lifelong calling. Through years of dedication and determination, she purchased the business and has proudly carried forward its values ever since.

    Since taking ownership, Plant Safari has continued to evolve while staying true to the philosophy that built its reputation—offering quality plants, unique pottery, honest guidance, and exceptional customer service at fair prices. Every plant is carefully selected, every display thoughtfully arranged, and every visitor welcomed with the same warmth that has defined our nursery for generations.

    Today, Plant Safari is home to thousands of indoor and outdoor plants, handcrafted pottery from around the world—including authentic Talavera pottery from Mexico—beautiful planters, baskets, home décor, and unique treasures waiting to be discovered around every corner.

    But we believe the experience is just as important as what you take home.
